The twist was interesting, but the whole... MC being a "good Christian girl" and the mother and father being big bad atheists who want to teach their children science not religion thing rubbed me the wrong way. Not to mention

the twist where the atheist parents force their kidnapped child to be transgender

was hella lame.

The twists in this book were actually insane OMGG, not once did I think I could trust any of the characters

Mallory’s choices did infuriate me 80% of the time, but I feel like that’s just a given in horror books/movies bc the main character always does the exact opposite of what you would do in real life lol

The drawings really tied the whole book together and immensely added to the whole creepy and suspenseful vibe! Lord help me if I have a socially awkward weird kid who likes to draw with an imaginary friend
