This book is labeled as horror/supernatural but I’d say it barely fits into those categories. It’s more of a thriller/mystery/suspense. That aside it’s a good book with some good twists if you can get past the facts that the parents are inexplicably odd.

I liked the overall concept but the

super anti-religious parents forcing their kid to be trans combined with the multiple harry potter references

left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.
