I liked this one a lot more than I remembered. It felt like there was a bit less propaganda. The antagonist was well written as someone who was truly out of their mind a bit, and I think the story set up future storylines really nicely.
Another fantastic book in the Alex Rider series!

YASSEN IS STILL ALIVE. OF COURSE HE IS. HE'S OUT THERE SOMEWHERE AND HE'S GOING TO BECOME GOOD AND HE'S GOING TO MEET ALEX AGAIN ONE DAY AND BECOME A FATHER FIGURE AND I DON'T KNOW, OKAY??? I JUST NEED YASSEN TO BE ALIVE.
I know this book is about Alex. But like. Yassen deserved more. Okay.

I love Yassen. Not even kidding a little bit. He's so amazing. I remember first reading this book and having to wait for the next one to come out... and ever since then, my sisters and I have chosen to ignore The Ending.YASSEN IS STILL ALIVE. OF COURSE HE IS. It was about this point I gave up on reading Alex Rider because I felt all the books had the exact same plot twists/the same villains, always. Alex is pretty cool, it just lost its touch.
