This is for Masked Mafia by Darcy Ray
I love a good mafia story that grabs you by the throat and squeezes with it's gritty intenseness this story even though that's it's a prequel, has the makings of what's to come. I haven't read the other Mafia Nation Shared World stories by this arthur, but after reading just this quick story I'll definitely be checking them out, because I'm definitely looking forward to reading this series, so I can't wait. I love it when you have the fmc who isn't afraid to do what it takes for her family regardless of the odds. Octavia is that woman as she's not had the best life and now that she's with Igor the love of her life she's going to stand by his side to do what it takes to get their hea and he will destroy anyone who dares to hurt her yeh this man is intense as hell and the side character's are just as intense, so I can't wait to see what transpires.
I'd definitely recommend.

This was a great dark criminal romance anthology. I especially enjoyed the contributions from Elizabeth Knox and E.C. Land. Those stories had me very engrossed and I had a hard time putting them down.

Firstly, Masked Mafia is a prequel for a new mafia series by Darcy Ray called Red Lips And Blazing Guns if I am not mistaken. Though it was short, we have got a great glimpse on the heroine Octavia who happens to be deeply in love and positively pregnant by a bratva capo. They are in the process of moving to a new city and growing their new empire. Things get twisted and risky quite fast and that’s when the story really takes off. It won’t be easy to hold on till the actual full length book to come out but it definitely seems worth the wait.

This is a very fast paced prequel novella. It stars Igor & Octovia. It doesn’t start out as RH but there are some prospects that I’m excited to see if they’ll play a part or not. Some of the time line was a little off. But I’m excited to see where the series goes.

Cover Up is a collection of dark romance short stories. This gives a wide variety of authors and storylines. The stories are entertaining and unique. Some are great introductions to new series and others can be read independently.

Masked Mafia by Darcy Ray is a story that is exclusively in Cover Up. It was such a great story! I love the spice mixed with the action. It keeps your attention and keeps you wanting more. I will definitely be reading the next book so I can keep up with Octavia and her men!
