Read it in one go. Retelling of The Fall of the House of Usher by Poe. It was really gross and sufficiently creepy. I liked it.

It was unsettling, grotesque and made me scratch at my skin… Exactly what I’ve been wanting to read lately and I loved it. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

i read this book on a really stormy day while listening to the soundtrack of bly manor and it was GLORIOUS!! this was basically a short gothic horror novel with mushrooms, and i loved every single word of it (also look at that cover.... the inside was just as gorgeous and disgusting as the outside tbh)
