This was . . . okay. Not my favorite of Chen's. I don't know that I feel the ending was very satisfying actually.

This was a fun and unique take on the time loop story. My only real criticism is I kind of felt the ending was a bit rushed (or at least a little unsatisfying). I'd definitely still recommend it to anyone who enjoys lighter sci-fi.
I wasn’t compelled at all by the protagonists’ personal stories, and the sci fi wasn’t sci fi enough to compel me with that, either. It was just super broad, simple ideas so there wasn’t enough to excite me or make me think it would get more sciencey later on.

This book surprised me. I loved the concept and the process. The love story is pretty light but the characters are real and whole and lovely. I never knew I could enjoy an AI character as much as I did. Also the incorporation of pet characters was a welcome treat!

3.5 stars rounded up. I had so much fun reading this book and flew through it in 3 sittings! I was a little bit disappointed with the last 50 pages or so - a little but too much quantum physics and big absence of the love/romance, but overall an enjoyable read.

I lost interest but kept with it to see how everything was explained. Not a bad book but just not for me.
