Absolutely outstanding! The intertwining of the actual facts with a fictional story made for a spellbinding book. Loved the writing and character development.

Thank you to Marysue Rucci for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I couldn’t put this down. The double narration of the 1970s victims of Ted Bundy and the reckoning with grief of the loved ones of his victims were both suspenseful and an enjoyable feminist takedown of current true crime obsessives. One of the main narrators reminded me of a Joyce Carol Oates character so much, and the choice not to name Bundy at all was a strong one. I think this book is going to be a hit, even if feels like chastisement for the true crime audience.
