The FMC was so hard to like. She was the reason for so much miscommunication. I felt bad for the MMC becuase everyone kept blaming and no one let him explain himself. The book could have been half the size of the FMC just listened to the MMC. The public declaration at the end was so cringey.

“I’m honestly never more attracted to her than when she’s pissed off.”

Second chance romance done so well! Nate and Jackson have known each other since high school dated for years and ended up breaking up for a few reason you find out during the course of the book. This was my first Julia read and I have no complaints.

“I didn’t only come here to win this,” he says, his voice low and steady, but quiet enough that only I can hear him. “I came for you.”

I read this book pretty quickly and didn't want to put it down and that doesn't happen to enough if I'm being honest
