A very interesting and informative book. Certainly not a book to read cover to cover or for entertainment purposes, an excellent reference book packed full of the British Royal Family lineage.

A lot of information to process and digest, especially when it comes into siblings and their offspring, of which there is an abundance.

ISBN? - 9780099539735

General Subject/s - History / Biography / Monarchy

Title? - Exactly what it says on the cover - a genealogical assessment of the monarchy.

General Analysis? - A great reference book for historians of royalty and even for those just with a non-academic interest. It clearly gives all of the monarchs. Of both England and France, their spouses, siblings and parents as well as a summary of their reigns. Excellent.

Recommended? - Yes, a great insight into the monarchy and the relations within it.

The genealogical layout was really hard to read on an ereader, but the information was fascinating, if not quite up to date, as the book was published in 2008, pre-Kate. A fun and interesting read, all in all.

Reference book listing kings and queens of England and Scotland.  Each monarch has a very short (1/2 page) biography along with a list family members (parents, siblings and children) each of whom have their own brief listing of children.

Really neat book, but it took forever to finish.
