This book is hard for me to review since I am very much on the outside of this topic (not an adoptee nor currently thinking about children at all, let alone adopting)
I think this is a book that anybody thinking about adopting should pick up. It really gives a lot of insight to how adoptees might think or feel about their adoption and I think that insight could really help inform how adoptive parents go about things.
I also believe that many adoptees would feel extremely validated by the topics and conversations brought up within this book.
Angela's story of reconnecting with her birth parents was my favorite part of this book. I feel like so often when you hear about stories of people reconnecting with their birth parents you never hear when that goes poorly and hearing both the ups and downs of Angela's story really gave me a lot to think about.
I can see myself picking this book back up in the future when I decide I'm ready to think about becoming a parent and what that will look like for me.
