Such a lovable main character and thoroughly reflective story. I’m not very familiar with aspects of traditional Jewish religion, so it was very informative to follow Raizl along her journey, while also learning something new. I think the commentary surrounding the expectations of women versus men in any society is spectacular and the novel tackles sexuality and curiosity in a fresh way. The story felt a little laggy at times, but it was still a nice read.
