Another small town setting which I love, i enjoy the quietness and community feel of books set in these types of towns.
This is a romance between Duke and Lucy where is is a major country singer and she has essentially come to this small town to be away from the limelight and she rents a country house in the area where Duke lived.
Duke is instantly attracted to her and straight away he thinks he recognises her so she tries to bribe him to keep quiet.

WHAT IS IN THIS SMALL TOWN CRACK?
I literally don’t think Devney can do any wrong. I read the Eden series and Coach before hopping into this one and I am just OBSESSED. I am not usually one for suspense but I eat it up in the way that Devney adds it to the plot. Lucy and Duke were so gooey lovey and delicious from the moment they met and I love them so much. I also had ideas of who the stalker was the entire time and I like how she threw a whole 180 in there with someone we wouldn’t have already known.

- A história andou muito rápido. Desde o início ao epílogo passaram 4 meses?! No!
- O relacionamento foi super superficial e as personagens foram mal desenvolvidas;
- O mistério foi meh at best. Sinceramente nem consideraria um mistério. Just an opinion se a autora tivesse iniciado por outro casal esta história teria muito mais impacto.

I really enjoyed this, I loved the small town in this, I love the found family being built, I loved how easy it was to read and I really enjoyed the characters. Some scenes felt rushed a little, but other than that was a very good book.
