All Your Pucking Secrets by A. Rivers is a thoughtful, sensitive story; though darker and angstier than prior books of hers I've read. Friends to lovers to enemies to lovers again; this was a rollercoaster of a relationship. This story is dual POV with flashbacks, well written, and an angsty, contemporary college romance, with accurate trigger warnings; please check before reading.

Echo and Tyler lives have been shaped by their traumatic pasts. Back in high school they were together, but for some reason it had to be a secret. When Tyler’s dad finds out, the only way Tyler can keep Echo safe is by letting her go. Except the way he does it is the worst way possible; leaving Echo to face the consequences of that decision. Tyler has always been there in the background looking out for her trying to make sure she is safe; determined to protect her and get her back. There were many secrets, deceptions and half-truths, as well as snippets of life changing abuse, which was difficult to read, but was written sensitively. If complex, steamy stories where the main characters must fight for their love are your jam, then this story is for you.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Very well written. I’m glad that both Tyler and Echo were in therapy to go over the trauma they went through and that they were still putting in the work. Echo is a better woman than me cause tbh I don’t think I could forgive Tyler (especially after the third secret came out). In the end though I’m glad they’re getting their happy ending.

Tyler and Echo dated in high school. The problem here is Tyler is not allowed to date per his abusive father, so they keep their relationship a secret. Tyler ends up breaking things off and humiliating Echo in front of everyone. And this is just the start of the horrific things Echo endures. Fast forward to college and who should be the newest hockey transfer? Tyler and he wants his girl back.

I have a love hate relationship with Tyler. I understand why he did what he did, but I struggle to forgive the silence after 'The Incident'. He does grovel through the majority of this book, however, I don't know if there is an amount of groveling that can make up for his silence.

I was glad to see Echo actually working through her trauma and going to therapy to talk through her feelings about having Tyler so close again and all of his confessions. I was glad to see Tyler respecting her boundaries when it came to sex and giving her the control she needed in when they finally have a sexual relationship again. I can respect the fact that Tyler was celibate the entire time they were apart...

It's a good story, though I always wonder how rich these people are meant to be as the way money is used seems unrealistic but maybe that's just me.
