It was great to read a story highlighting a disability, not many other authors are brave enough to try. I to am deaf, a dead left ear and 20% in my right, so I know what it's like to live in a silent world and that stepping out of that and using your hearing aids can be a scary thing as we have know idea how to filter out background noise therefore every little thing is highlighted. Sometimes it can be amazing, for Issac it was hearing bear meow and purr, and hearing Jon's voice and heart beat. For me it was hearing each of my babies first cry.
It's a hard battle for Jon and Issac especially having to deal with Henry's declining health, a new relationship and the elephant in the room, Jon's porn career. You'd better read for yourself how this fledging romance developes and wether it takes flight and soars!

So far I loved this series and knew that Tristan and Gabe’s story would be hard to follow up because it was so good. I agree with a couple other reviewers in that I absolutely loved all of this book except the little ‘surprise’ near the end. That part didn't contribute to the story really but didn't take too much away from it either.

Isaac is one of the most complex characters I think I’ve ever read about. He was an absolute wreck. No social skills, no relationship skills – of any kind, not just the romantic kind, no real world experience outside his tragedy as a kid. He’s really smart and when he comes out of his shell, a bit snarky. His growth and healing was so awesome to watch.

Jon was simply amazing and completely selfless in this story. He gave his all to Henry and Isaac. He was absolutely what Isaac needed to start living again - incredibly patient and loving.
Bear totally stole the show in this book…and I never knew that a kitten could be a service animal but that’s basically what he was to Isaac.

There are a couple of dangling characters that I really hope we see in future books in this series.

This was a good story with a lot less steam than the first 2 books. I liked both characters a lot and loved that they helped each other but especially liked that one brings the other get back to a normal life. Sweet love story! The extreme lack of sex scenes was very surprising to me!

Narration was good too!

This was a wild wild ride. The end of this book is not at all with the beginning of the book is. The only thing I truly hated was that Jon is constantly telling everyone all of Isaac's personal history, even the incredibly sensitive things. It felt like Jon had no respect for Isaac's trauma or his ability to choose who knows his darkest experiences.

Other than that I enjoyed large portions of this especially with Isaac and his storyline of overcoming his fears. I have no idea if any of it was accurate or handled respectfully (to someone with the same experiences) but it was cool to read about and Isaac is such a cool character. I think overall, I enjoyed this but its not fantastic and I wouldn't reread. If the last 10% hadn't gone the way it did, I probably would rate this 4 or 4.25 stars.

Another great addition to the Perspectives series. Henry and Jon are broken men, but those are the kind I like best. (I'm a little bit broken myself, after all.) And watching them learn to heal themselves and help each other was fantastic. I was definitely a teary mess by the end of this book, and it was worth every last one.

This is rather enlightening story that intrigued me from the beginning. It gave me an insight into the male porn industry I would never of had and now I want to read the other books with these connected characters. This is the third book in the Perspectives but can be read as a stand alone.

This story covers an awful lot of serious subjects and does it well. There are a lot of stumbling blocks for Jon and Isaac in this story. You don’t feel cheated by covering so much and you can see how much both of them have to learn. Some people may struggle with the hang ups that each other these characters have but in my opinion the author did a great job tackling these issues. Isaac is a shut in after witnessing severe abuse as a young child as well as abuse from his father. Jon struggles with self image and overcoming an eating disorder just to touch on a few of the things that make each of these two very strong characters.

I really enjoyed watching these two come together and finally get to their HEA. There are a lot of cute and funny moments to help balance the tough times and as I mentioned before I will now be looking to read the other books in the Perspectives series.

I received a free copy of this book to read for Inked Rainbow Reads in exchange for an honest review.

Another enjoyable read focusing on men with issues

As with the other books in this series, there's angst but, like book two, it's not as bad as the first one.

Jon and Isaac made an interesting pair with their different hang ups and mental anxieties and both brought something solid for the other to rely on.

I liked that there was a lot of conversation between them in this romance, not silly misunderstandings or lack of communication. The odd side plot really didn't work for me though as it seemed to come out of nowhere even with the red herring in play.
