I’m glad I picked this series back up. Puck isn’t nearly as annoying as I remembered him being. He’s almost, dare I say it, endearing in this one. He’s a good foil for the über machismo of Guts.

Really enjoyed how horrific and sad this arc of the manga is. Poor children who're all caught up in this. Wonderfully tragic!
