I was glad, Sarah was not with them with this journey and is very happy with John and Six's blossoming affair (affair? hahaha), and what turns out to be Sam's purpose. I really like his nerdy character. With all the lovely things happening with them, including learning new things, training, and some squeezed fights with the Mogs, so enters Sarah. Ugh. I hate her, what a selfish blonde! How can she be worried about what's happening with her in school, be saddened about being bullied and being hated by other people? I actually want to scream and yell on her face when she was saying all that to John, c'mon, on the first book, I thought he understands?! That she gets why John can't stay and all that. Grrr ( although we're not sure if it was Sarah who turned them, I know. I know) I just hated how she was with John at the park. Why is John even in love with her still!?

*ehem. Sorry about that. I was carried away. I hate her.

On the lighter side of things, Marina is now with Ella and Crayton which is really nice, although I'm a bit saddened about Hector. All the this time I wanted a Cepan to live so that he/she can somehow explain everything inside those chests. So that they would all know how to use those gems and crystals. With that, I really enjoyed this book, it was definitely a page turner. :)

.. and yes. I'm not good in doing reviews.

The Lorien Legacies gets better with this book. The narrative gets more complex since another point of view is added, it's great. The story gets better and the suspense is great. I loved Marina, I could relate so much with her character, she was amazing. The descriptions were on point and the character development was amazing. A good read overall.

I was so surprised with the twists and turns! I loved The Power of Six; I am such a huge fan of I Am Number Four. The story was told by two persons from two different places - John and Marina - which made the ending so much more riveting with every page. The first time I read the first two chaps of TPo6 on the back of I Am Number Four, I was drawn to the sad tale of Marina and how her Cepan refused to believe their reality, leading me to be cold to her even at the part where Adelina died.

More running, more hiding, more romance, more *gasp* revelations, and more Mogs! Awesome sauce! If you loved the first book, then seriously, why haven't you read this one yet!!!1

It’s a really interesting concept for a book but it’s writing is so terrible and the audiobook narrators so bad it’s a struggle to get through.

I really liked the first book in this series, but I thought it drug on a bit too long and the action scenes in particular were overdone. Lore obviously heard my complaint and addressed that issue in this second installment. The action was much tighter and the plot was paced very well between the different characters and storylines. The addition of the new characters and narrators was a good move, especially since one of the main characters died in the previous book. Those positives don't completely outweigh the fact that I am not completely emotionally invested in the characters. I like them, but I don't love them. Still, a story that is enjoyable and well worth a read.
