This is prob my fav Heroes of Olympus book. I’m just so glad I read this for the first time AFTER the House of Hades had already been released.

I love this series and will forever love it. I found this book at a thrift shop for one dollar, which is an absolute steal. Seamus ate a pretty large portion of my last copy, so I had to have it. It was truly just as good as I remember. The one thing I had perhaps forgotten was the age of the main characters. One of the younger ones is only twelve. That's wild. The author does a great job of catering to younger age groups while still addressing some heavier topics and depicting intense situations without glossing over them or getting too dark. Like I said, I will always love this.
