Another addition to Jess and Brock read! I love this book. Probably one of my favourite from the series. Firstly let’s get it out of the way. The cliff hanger is EVERYTHING. Rick knew it, we knew it. Omg. Percy and Annabeth finally reuniting, Leo blowing up Camp Jupiter, the seven on the run. NICO ! It’s just a great book. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will read an again. Definitely

I always thought it was interesting that Annabeth is treated like one of the most powerful demigods despite not having any real powers like the others. I think the older I get the more I like the choice, and it's kind of cool to see being able to make a good plan and figure things out be treated like a superpower on par with calling lightning. Still, after learning about the spiders, I wouldn't want to be an Athena kid.
