Some advice was common sense and others were common crap. As MLKJ said, if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything.

As a classic self help book, it is clear to everyone that this is a must read and will live up to all the hype. Probably one of the best books for self improvement, hands down.
But, remember this book is currently about 80 years old and some or most of the topics are not supported by science. This leads most to question a lot of the numbers and "facts" used in the book. If you can put these "facts" aside and just considered them stories just to make a valid point, then you can get over some of the crazy parts of the book.
This is a second read for me and every time I reread a book, I always get a lot more out of the book and this time was no different. If you have never read this one or did a long time ago, reread it, but I would probably recommended the revised edition which will be my 3rd read some day in the future.

nothing to say, the workouts the author gave us might be helpful, but overall very repetitive and a boring book, but yeah you can read it a single time
I read the audiobook, if it wasn't so short it would have been a 1-star.
First of all, I recommend reading the book, not the audio version since Napoleon Hill's voice is really irritating.
Secondly, if you are already determined to do something and are continually working you won't learn much from this book.
Basically this book can be summarized in one sentence:
Have a dream and work hard.
Honestly, I get why this book is so popular, it is an "eye-opener" for people who never chased their dreams and it is a simple self-help book. So nothing special really, there are better books honestly.

I’m going to wait to rate this. So many people I respect has suggested this for me and it just did NOT hit. I know it was originally written during Great Depression and it was so slow and meh. I also listened to it as an audiobook and sped it up almost double just to get through it. I’m going to reread the physical and see if it sparks anything different. I just can’t accept that it was bad lol. I hope I’m wrong.
