Beautiful drawings, the story is so sad and yet comforting. People, torn by their own personal loss of family, come together to take care of each other. Learn about the game shigo as you go along. I look forward to seeing how these characters grow through the rest of the series.

No sabia que tenia adaptació anime aquesta sèrie, però feia temps que la tenia a pendents. M'he vist el primer episodi i m'ha agradat força, no sé si continuaré la lectura o em passaré a l'anime... Em feia gràcia llegir un "spokon" amb un esport/joc de taula com a teló de fons. En aquest cas el shogi, una espècie d'escacs japonesos, i un jove de 17 anys, el Rei, jugador professional de shogi, orfe i criat per un amic de son pare, però que ha decidit abandonar la casa familiar perquè no troba el seu lloc i no suporta la pressió amb els seus germanastres. Per sort, una família de 3 germanes també òrfenes l'acull sempre que ho necessita i es preocupen per ell. Una combinació entranyable que em deixa amb ganes de saber què s'amaga sota la capa de bonicor (fantasmes del passat)! ♥
