“Manga work is similar to an endless interrogation of yourself.” -Chica Umino
How did I *not* realize this manga series was from the mangaka who gave us Honey & Clover?? That’s my fault, but I’ll accept it. March Comes in Like A Lion (I could go on and on about how freaking cool that title is, geez,) tosses you into the storyline, but it does so with open arms. I love it, and I can’t wait to pick up the next volume.

Rei is a professional shogi player, who has befriended a family of three sisters. This story so far has my heart aching for the sadness that follows him, while at the same time warming as he interacts with the girls. The characters are amazing and I want to read more.
