love, fashion, heists

I love Jenny Proctor novels, I eat them up. I loved this one as well. Dani and Alex’s second chance at love was so precious. my only gripe for this book was that the second half felt incredibly rushed and I felt like there wasn’t enough actual rebuilding of their relationship. Overall I still loved the book, just wish it hadn’t been so rushed

3.5⭐️ So here’s the thing, to me the MC Dani isn’t very likable. I perceive her as selfish and unaware of how her actions affect the people in her life. Especially her twin brother but also Alex. Don’t get me wrong, I will always encourage people to go after their dreams. Just don’t dismiss or look down on others for pursuing theirs.

Onto the things I really enjoyed. Isaac (Dani’s brother) is so charismatic and funny. Love him! In the second book he’s one of the MC’s! Alex, the love interest struggles with his family dynamics is an interesting storyline. His parents divorce and remarries and he doesn’t get along with his stepfamily to say the least. Sasha is so villainous, you love to hate her. And the plot twist was very unexpected.

The series doesn’t have to be read in order but I would recommend it. After finishing this one I went right into the second book :)
