OMG, the feels with this book just about tore me up. I was so devastated when Book 1 of this series ended and I wanted to scream at the injustice of it all. Well, let me tell you that Fighting For Us is the most appropriate name of this book ever. There was so much pain, emotional turmoil and acceptance that occurred inside these pages, that I might need therapy along with the main characters.

I love the love that Asher and Grace share. I love all the many side characters and most of all, I love Grams. This book was deep. It had flawed characters who had to learn to overcome trauma and heal. I enjoyed peeling back the layers and seeing the truth that love can heal, but you have to let it. I highly recommend it this series.

This book broke and healed my heart

I knew reading about Asher's experience was going to be hard but wow, it was brutal! I'm glad that was addressed though and I'm glad we also got to see Grace's side of it. It was also interesting to read how Grace had ignored her own trauma, choosing to focus on Asher.

It was hard reading about all of their issues, their frustrations and their pain but I'm so happy that they found their way back to each other.❤️

The only reason I started this book was because I wanted to see how things were when Asher gets out of prison. I didn't enjoy the first book neither did I enjoy this one therefore I DNF at 27% in. So many more characters were thrown into this book which didn't help since I barely connected to the original characters

The wait for Grace and Asher was worth it!

I was so excited for Grace’s story! I love that we got two books to get the whole story. I really enjoy how Claire can make you laugh and cry with her storytelling.

It’s great to read a book with angst but it’s not from something dumb but from real emotion. It’s an escape but it’s also REAL. Claire writes REAL which is why I’ve read all of her books and will read all of the ones to come!
