Out of all of them the only one I had read was the first, which I was happy to read again. Nalini really knows how to wet ones appetite and keep us wanting more.

Even though I've read Nate and Tammy's story before, it'll always be one of my favourites. Zach and Annie are always fun to read about as well. The new stories, about Cooper/Grace and Lara/Walker, were the reason I had to read this as soon as I could. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole anthology.

This review is only for the first two books so far since I'm trying to read in order.

Beat of Temptation 5 stars*****

OMG, I loved this story. I thought Tamsyn let Nate get away with too much at first - he was hurting here and she seemed to just keep coming back for more. And, oh god, the way she interpreted Nate's actions was heartbreaking!! I was glad when the pack turned against him a bit to support Tamsyn.
"And neither of you tried to stop her from leaving?"
"Why would we?"
Lucas's tone was hard. "You made her cry Nathan. You made your mate cry and then you didn't hold her."

Ugh. Just. Dying.

The story may be short, but it is chock-full of emotion and depth. It could probably stand on it's own, but it definitely packs more of a punch if you've already read [b:Slave to Sensation|178476|Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1)|Nalini Singh|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1390666536s/178476.jpg|172416] as you've likely already fallen in love with many of these characters.

"She wouldn't be hard to track - she was carrying his heart with her."

Stroke of Enticement 4 stars****

This one I found interesting as it was the first (if you've read in order) to introduce a human character to the story. Zach and Annie were both likable characters and I thought the story progressed well, with the exception of a bit of insta-love (Zach realizes that Annie is his mate within like 15 minutes of meeting). But overall I liked it and I'm sure the devoted fans of the series will to.

Beat of Temptation (Psy-Changeling #0.5): 4 stars

We finally have Tamsyn and Nate’s story! These two have been a main couple since the first book and I have always wanted to know how their mating went.

Nate realized Tamsyn was his mate when she was 15 and he was 28. He waited years to allow her to grow before he claimed her. At 19, Tamsyn is back with the pack and is ready to make their mating official but Nate keeps putting her off thinking she needs more time. It takes a dramatic move from Tamsyn to get Nate to see how much damage he has done to her.

I quite liked Nate and Tamsyn’s story. Nate is the protective alpha male who takes his protectiveness too far. It was nice to know that this solid couple still had a very rocky start. I have always loved Tamsyn. She is so sweet and caring and it really makes her the perfect healer. I love that she isn’t afraid to stand up to Nate when he is being a blockhead.

Overall, this was a great story and was a fun break from all the danger going on with Pure Psy.

Stroke of Enticement (Psy-Changeling #3.5): 4 stars

This was a fun novella in the world of the Psy-Changelings. I really enjoyed this one because it's the first human-changeling relationship of the series.

Annie is a teacher for changeling children and has to call in the uncle of one of her students but what she doesn't expect is to be instantly attracted to him.

The romance between Annie and Zack was quick and steamy. Zack instantly knows she is his mate. Most of this book takes place within 48 hours of them meeting but Singh does jump a month into their relationship for the conclusion. This jump is really important because we see that while happy Annie has a problem with commitment. I really enjoyed watching them work out their relationship.

This was a cute and sweet story. I hope this couple pops up in future books.

Declaration of Courtship (Psy-Changeling #9.5): 5 stars

SnowDancer Lieutenant Cooper is a dominant wolf who isn’t known for his patience. When it comes to courting a sexy little submissive it takes every ounce of his control to keep his wolf in check.

I loved this novella. It was a quick fun read that left me happy. Cooper and Grace are now one of my favorite couples from this series. I loved watching Cooper slowly seduce Grace and gain her trust. It was just perfect and just what I didn’t know I needed. I really liked Grace. She was submissive but would still stand up to Cooper when necessary.

I think what I really loved about this book though was the dynamic between Grace’s human side and her wolf side. Watching her wolf grow to trust Cooper was fascinating. I do wish there had been a little more build up of trust but I still really enjoyed it.

Texture of Intimacy (Psy-Changeling #10.5): 5 stars

Yay more Walker and Lara!! I was so sad that there weren't more Walker and Lara parts in Kiss of Snow. When I started reading this one and realized it was a whole story with just these two I was so excited.

This picks up right where Kiss of Snow ends. Walker and Lara are figuring out their mating. They are both learning how to lean on each other in times of need. Walker really struggles with letting Lara in, especially when it comes to his past but he does learn. I loved watching him open up and embrace happiness.

I adored these two and really hope we see more of them in future books.

Four short stories, two of which I had read before so I won't review them (and I didn't re-read)

Declaration of Courtship - Cooper is a dominant lieutenant and he has the hots for Grace a submissive engineer. The story explores how they can develop a relationship given their respective positions in the pack. How can Cooper tell whether Grace truly wants him or is submitting because he is more dominant? I think I would have liked this more if the FSOG phenomenon hadn't overused the dominant aspects - not that this is in the same vein AT ALL, it's just the word which gives me the heebee jeebees.

Texture of Intimacy - meh. I didn't really see this as a short story more of a vignette.

Of the previously-released stories Beat of Temptation was an older male telling his very young mate what he thinks is good for her. Didn't like him at the time and had no desire to reread.

Stroke of Enticement - shifters teach arrogant humans about loyalty and love - I liked it
