I saw the movie when it came out. Meryl Streep was so good that I can’t visualize Miranda as anyone else. Seems the movie followed the book fairly well, but the book bored me whereas the movie was so much fun.

Since only this book in the trilogy was produced as a movie, I’m curious if the other two will read better done I won’t have a basis of comparison.

This was a good read! I’ve seen the movie so had an idea of what the book was about. It follows Andy’s journey as an assistant to one of the top fashion magazine editors in the world. I do think the story dragged on a bit in a few spots, but I would recommend this book as a good summer vacation read!

The ending is basically the only good thing about this book. It does what it does really well - but man, do I hate Miranda. Also, firmly in the camp that Andi’s friends and family and boyfriend had every right to be pissed at her.

It was hard to me getting through the first part but once I did I couldn't let go of the book and I devoured it, so much fun
