I found out about Michael Montoure through the horror podcast he does with Jennifer Lovely; Don't Read The Latin. I use it to ''sing'' me to sleep nowadays.

COUNTING FROM TEN
Almost immediately in this story I thought; ''Oh no...'' as I realized what was going to happen to Jack's friend Tommy. It is very well written, but also with a relaxed, modern tone.
WATCH THE COIN
Unique story, like nothing I've ever read.
HEROES AND VILLAINS
Where we meet a bad guy per se that I REALLY didn't like. This story would have been a great movie! I also loved the comic book cover at the end.
I WILL FOLLOW YOU INTO THE DARK
Also really amazing - I don't know why Michael didn't release this before, it's great! This could also be a really good movie too, for strange and unusual audiences like us...
So yeah, a nice little nightly read to spooky sounds in the background! Montoure writes such good descriptions, and I have to check out his other work - but first, more of his podcast before bed.
Recommended for all horror fans!
