I didn't love this story, but feel 100% compelled to now read Drew's POV in Underestimated Too. There are things in my mind that are unanswered, so I hope that I will find out more in the next book.

What can I say about the main characters? Drew is sick, mean and deprived who drags poor Morgan unwillingly into his world. Dawson is the guy who tries to put Riley(Morgan) back together again. Morgan (Riley)is the woman you will not understand and will continuously question her motives and life choices!

Positives : This is a long book, which I loved :-), Negatives : "vagina" was used way too many times for my liking! Actually, I'd have preferred it wasn't used at all. Rated 3.5*

Wtf did I just read?
(Spoilers ahead)

I'm sure you've read the blurb. Girl turns 18 gets bought by handsome crazy dude and has a 6 year marriage of him doing crazy sex things and beating her. Runs away for two years (meets Mr perfect and has a perfect life). Gets in an accident and husband finds her.

Girl has a concussion and doesn't remember anything (of course). She then starts to have her husband fall in love with her (of course), but duh, she's falling in love with him too cause he isn't being a POS.

Mr. Perfect finds her later and her memories instantly come back.

Finds out creepy old man she always saw at the parties is her grandpa. Shitty dad she knew isn't actually her real shitty dad. Grandpa finds out about her and doesn't do the normal thing, like hey, tell her she will get his company when he dies. No.He has her pos husband marry her and not tell her about her grandpa. Apparently her husband doesn't get jack in the company if he doesn't marry her and decided he wanted to treat her like crap for 6 years cause he was mad? Seriously..

Of course she sleeps with the two dudes cause she just doesn't possibly know who to choose. Becomes pregnant. Decides to CHOSE THE DUDE THAT TREATED HER LIKE SHIT FOR 6 years. And OF COURSE it turns out to be his baby. And Mr perfect has to not be prefect anymore right? Turns out only 5 months after she was missing he kisses and sleeps with HER BEST FRIEND. Find out the baby isn't Mr perfects and apparently he has gotten the best friend pregnant BEFORE FINDING OUT IF THE BABY THE HEROINE IS CARRYING IS EVEN HIS.

Wtf wtf wtf. If I could rate this lower than one star I would.

HOLY HELL!!!! Underestimated took me on a roller coaster of emotions, and I loved every freaking second of it!

I don't even know where to start.

Morgan... poor Morgan. At 18 Morgan is bought from her father by the very wealthy, very sexy Drew. She's then forced to marry and move to Vegas with him.

For 6 years Morgan is married to the devil himself. Drew uses and abuses Morgan every chance he can get, for any reason he sees fit. There is no emotional connection at all between Drew and Morgan, just some crazy, erotic, dark sex.

I know I might sound crazy, but I have to admit some of the scenes got me all hot and bothered. Not the abuse at all, but the sex was just HOT. Drew knows what he's doing. He dominates and takes what he wants, no questions asked.

Anyways... with help Morgan gets a chance to leave her life with Drew, and start completely over, new identity and all.

She takes the chance and leaves. With a new identity, Morgan finds herself ready to start her new life.

While all is well in her new life, for the most part, I was happy for her but I felt like I was just waiting for something bad to happen. I was a ball of anxiety thinking that all of this was too good to be true for her.

Morgan winds up getting close to, and falling in love with Dawson.

Dawson is every girls dream boy. A true respectable guy who loves Morgan for who she is, and tries his hardest to prove he accepts her with her scars and all.

With everyday that passes, it becomes easier and easier to let go of her horrific memories with Drew.

What's supposed to be a quick business trip turns into a freaking nightmare. A horrible accident leaves Morgan with no memory (at all), and back into the arms of her husband, Drew- only he isn't acting the way he used to.

I truly hated Drew in the beginning for everything he did to Morgan, and then I hated him more for manipulating Morgan into thinking he was a loving husband. For tricking her into actually loving him.

With so many twists and turns, Morgan finds herself at a crossroad, having to choose between the two men she fell in love with. I have to say I thought the choice was clear. At first she got me upset, it was obvious who she should have picked. No thinking required. As I kept reading I started to understand. It took me a while but I finally got it. I started to feel like I would have made the same decision had it been me.

Jettie once again outdid herself with Underestimated. This book was intense every step of the way, and that made me love it even more. This book was full of deep, dark, heartbreaking, raw emotions.

For me, Underestimated was a well deserved 5 stars, and if I were able to give more stars I would.

Beauties, if you don't mind dark situations, and a lot of erotic scenes, do yourself a favor and read Morgan's emotionally crazy beautiful story! I promise you wont regret it.

I'm now addicted to Jettie's book, I cant wait for more!!

4.75 stars - it was difficult NOT to give an exact 5 stars to but more on that later.

Came across this on Amazon as I was looking for something new to read. Downloaded a sample on Friday and when I purchased it on Saturday, I read it straight through missing hours of sleep but I DIDN'T CARE!

This was a very enjoyable roller coaster ride. It was everything the author promised and then some.

Character Development - very thoughtful. Enjoyed seeing how Morgan and Drew changed. It didn't feel forced, it felt like circumstances naturally changed their direction as incredulous as it sounds (yes, I'm talking to myself as I'm typing this out on my iPhone!)

So the .25 of the less than perfect rating is about Morgan's good friend Lauren. Loved her in the beginning however at a point in time in the book, her behavior was too cliche for me. Hoes before Bros, ya know?! I just thought that this character's behavior wasn't consistent and that broke my heart a little. I can see why the author had Lauren go in this direction (sorry - no spoilers) but it doesn't mean I have to like it.

Plot - Holy Moses! The book starts out very dark, has a pivotal development which was not AT ALL expected. Oh, I knew that something was going to happen, I just didn't expect THAT.

LOVED IT. Felt very therapeutic. P.S. I want a baseball bat!!

Definitely looking forward to her next book. BRING IT ON!!!

Review of Underestimated by Jettie Woodruff

This story is erotic in nature and features scenes of BDSM. It should be read by a mature audience only. Please be warned!

This book starts off as one thing then turns itself on its head and becomes something else. It reminds me very much of the film "Sleeping With the Enemy" with Julia Roberts.

Morgan is running from something, turning herself into someone totally different to who she has grown up as. Morgan becomes Riley, moves to a small town, finds a job, makes friends and even meets someone who could become very important to her.

Slowly her story as Morgan starts to come out, and it is a very shocking story. What Morgan went through in her early life is something no one should go through. She deserves so much more, and it seems like she can get the life she deserves at last.

But the author then throws in a curveball, and Morgan finds herself struggling once again. She has changed as a person though, and uses her new found confidence to change things in the situation she finds herself in.

For a while she muddles through, believing that this is her life. But a chance encounter throws everything up in the air yet again as she is thrown back in time once again.

During the first half of the story I really liked Morgan/Riley. I could see that her past had caused heartache for her, and I agreed that she deserved a new life.

But during the second part I found myself disliking her slightly. She finds herself in a terrible situation, one which she tries to deal with by bringing her past and her present together. A lot of the decisions she makes hurt people, and I didn't agree with some of those decisions.

However, for the story to work its way to its conclusion Morgan had to go through what she did. She had to make the decisions she did. And her past and present had to meet the way they did.

I loved this story. It was different in many ways to books I have read before in that the storyline was quite unique. One thing I did take from this is that everyone can change should the circumstances present themselves the right way. It is a difficult story to read at times due to the content, but if you work your way through it I assure you it is worth it.

The storyline was interesting at first, but I started to hate the character with the back and forth between Dawson and Drew. Especially after she found out she was pregnant. Get a paternity test and save everyone the 9 months of stress and heartache, because in the end you made the real father miss out on almost all the aspects of having a pregnant wife. Story aside there were other issues regarding a number of spelling and grammar errors as well as character name spelling differences. Additionally, there were times where the conversation or thoughts jumped quickly making me confused if I had missed a paragraph only to find out that I hadn’t and there was just a lack of segue.

The story was good in the beginning but then after the second half I was just done with Morgan/Ry. She was pissing me the hell off. You gave your word to someone you care about and you just broke a promise that was so important to them. I mean really!! The guys kind of began to piss me off in the beginning to because they just let her break her promises. Each found out that she was lying and after they confronted her about it she got irritated with them for not understanding her situation??!! I mean are you serious?!?!?! And to appease her they forgive her and then the cycle begins all over again. I really admired her in the beginning of the book. She ran away from her rich, powerful, abusive husband which i know takes guts and lots of courage. She chose to continue her life, got a job, made friends. She later confronts her husband and demands the reasons for his abuse, but the story after this point just deteriorates She lies to bother her partners, makes false promises to both of them, and gets angry when they don't understand the situation they placed her in?!!? The only reason i gave this a 3 was because of the really good beginning portion and then the bad end merge together to become mediocre.

Intense..but fantastic..but I think I might need professional help after reading this. However the only thing I am left wondering about
Spoiler is that Rebecca was never mentioned towards the end, like what happened to her? Did she ever get away safely? Actually what happened in that whole house when she went missing? How long did they search ect? And then I was slightly disappointed that she didnt get to go see her brother.
but this book had me constantly on my toes and not really "knowing" what was going to happen at the end. Most books you know how they are going to go. You get little hints and can see the breadcrumbs being dropped throughout the story, you KNOW that that was going to happen or that was how the twist was going to go but no, not with this book, I was never SURE. I was right there with Morgan/Riley every step of the way. I even found myself
Spoiler with a huge grin reading through the happy flirting time while Morgan had lost her memories and when I caught the smiling, I had to sit back and think What. The. Fuck. is wrong with me.
I was so mindfucked by the end, I swear it somehow brainwashed me into giving it 5 stars, which is tough to get out of me. :P
