This is quite possibly one of the more grim works I've read recently. I literally gasped more than once and had to flip back just to make sure I'd witnessed what I thought I'd witnessed. Outstanding in it's concept, heart rending in its execution and shocking in its sheer brutality and outlook, "Beautiful Darkness" is not for the faint of heart but definitely for those who treasure the darkness behind every story and the animal inside all of us. RECOMMENDED

Fairytale creatures crawl out of a dead little girls decomposing head and descend into a fkn nightmarish lord of the flies horrorfest.
Disturbing. Plot line was barely there. Illustrations were beautifully dark and gruesome. Not really for me.
