The contradictions of human nature are the same even at a micro scale. So much wonderful imagery and unexpected combinations of ideas throughout this graphic novel. Despite combining many thriller and fairy tale tropes, this story feels fresh and distinct from the material it draws from: The Borrowers, Lord of the Flies, Battle Royale, Snow White... I loved it.

beautiful and light colours and great art, contrasting a very dark, twisted group of selfish people who do not care about others living or dying. aurora is the only "good" character and it was great to see her progression into darkness. the first reveal of where the tiny people had come from was extremely shocking, and really cements the type of story this book is

Complex and surreal, this graphic novel has wedged itself in a corner of my brain since the first time I read it. The juxtaposition of soft pastel charming characters with the horrors of human nature make this stand out and lovely

This graphic novel wanted so badly to be Alice in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland fanfic, even. It's got a shrinking main character and a host of quirky animals. The art is pretty good, though.
