This chapbook is a gorgeous series of verses. Kwame Opoku-Duku celebrates and resists form all at once, creating a rhythmic measure of joy, grief, temporality, finality, existentialism, and Lauryn Hill. His poems are an ecclesiastic journey that deserves to be read over and over and over until they stick in your head like a song.
