The gangs all here!

We are following Cora and Echo as she gets disturbing news that turns out to be good news after thinking on it. I love the addition of other characters from previous books. If you haven’t read any of the previous books in the Runes series you will most likely be confused and a little lost, not to mention you will be totally spoiling yourself for past reveals.

Ednah Walters does a great job with building her characters and the atmosphere that they are found. She intertwines mythology and lore so well with the present day and Cora is the epitome of present day melding into lore.

This book is a little slower than previous books with a little more teen angst and relationship building than action. It is a good in between book to bridge Witches and Gods.

Oh my wow is really all I can say about this book! If you read this book I recommend you read all the previous runes books first before starting this! I know have a soft spot for Echo! Seriously he is amazing with Cora and will do anything for her. You will love this book. It's my new favorite. I love how close Cora and Godess Hel became so quick! I can not express how much I loved this book without giving anything away.
