The story was entertaining and held my attention. It was nice to get more Randy and Lily content and we saw a couple that was happy not chasing marriage and babies. They gave Violet back some of the dimension she’d lost in the last book. I appreciated there was significantly less of the slut shaming and misogynistic puck bunny content than in previous books in the series.

Such a nice return to one of my favorite couples in the series. Their group vacation was  really fun and relaxing to read. And meant we got more from the whole group! Really loved how Lily stuck up for Randy and her care towards him after his dad left. Understanding that he would need time to process. Also a great end if traditional marriage/babies isn’t your thing.

This was a nice snapshot of one year into Randy‘s and Lily’s relationship. I loved this. There are so few books that show everyday life in a relationship. Most books are either the absolute high of falling in love in the beginning, or contemplating divorce twenty years in. I’d love to read more like this one.
