I won’t lie, I’m not normally one to sit down and read a whole poetry book like this, but having read some of his children’s books at uni, and then when taking some of my class to a workshop he was running he showed the adults a first copy of this and thought I’d check it out.
Its an interesting chronicle of a turbulent section of his life, and at times the content is quite raw, but it’s well-written and interesting poetry all the same.
