I absolutely hated this book. I kept wondering, why did something like this ever need to be written, let alone published? And why am I reading it?

This is oozing with gross sexual scenarios (like the idea of breastfeeding your child while a random man forcefully penetrates you in the butt or masturbating while you hear your mom also masturbating and hoping that the two of you orgasm simultaneously) and the main character was incredibly aggravating. This was a form of female sexuality that I could not relate to at all, and hoped that no actual real person lives their life like this either (tending to their "throbbing vagina" when almost anything and everything is constantly making them aroused).

I understand what a book like this meant in the context of feminism in the 1980s. But at the same time, if this is what feminism is, I don't want it.
