Quite a fun, quick read. The illustrations were a little disappointing, I must admit. There were echoes of Lemony Snicket and Neil Gaiman's Coraline here, but I don't think it was quite original enough to stand out in its own right.
This was really cute and witty. All kinds of Easter Eggs for older readers, but plenty of fun for age appropriate readers.
