The book is not an anthology. It is about women taking a creative writing class. Most of the stories they write in the class are erotic, but the plot of the book is not centered around sex.

Really liked this one! Enjoyable to read about a different culture and also their experiences living in London - and to see how we’re all after the same things in the end. Love, community, friendship, trust.

I accidentally downloaded this audiobook and ended up loving it. The voice acting on the audiobook was great, and the novel had a bit of everything, mystery, love, and comedy. Loved the exploration of mother/daughter relationships and redefining sexuality as older women.

One of my favorite lines from this book is “Why be with someone who’s making the journey? You could be with someone who has already arrived.”

Overall I enjoyed this book but parts of the plot were a bit unbelievable. The second storyline about Maya felt dropped in. I wish the writer would have just focused on the widows. I wanted to get to know them more. The writing felt a bit clunky at times but the erotic stories were beautifully written. I loved the premise.
