She is PRO BLACK & PRO BLACK GIRL & PRO BLACK WOMAN! I enjoyed reading her memoir….I’ve always loved Beyoncé but this book sheds a light on where she gets her light from!

On inspiration alone I thought this was a really good read. I was intrigued to learn about Ms Tina’s story and how she overcame many challenges in her life and the music industry. Most of all, it was motivating to hear of her journey of self love and embracing her entire self and story to become who she is today.

I absolutely loved this memoir by Beyonce's mom. Tina has lived a fascinating life and has an incredible voice as an author. I listened to the audio and really enjoyed listening to Tina narrate.

This was everything I expected from Ms. Tina’s memoir. I may have ugly cried a few times while listening. Have your tissues ready! Highly recommend picking it up on audio. It feels like Ms. Tina’s giving you a personal retelling of her life stories and lessons.
