Inoffensive but bland. It reads like a YA version of an early Simone St. James book, to its detriment. DNF page 137.

The first half of this book was slow and disappointing. I almost DNF'd multiple times. However, I am glad I stuck with it. The second half redeemed it. The pace picked up considerably, the cast of characters (who began dry and stale except for Jenny) found personalities! I wish the entire book could've had the spark of its second half.
