Friends to lovers - straight to gay - drunken Vegas wedding - what's not to love.
You have to love the story of Alex and Caden. Two friends who grew up next door to one another, having known each other since they were two years old, and an unbreakable bond.
Caden never thought he would get married because his parents always fought. Alex's home was his lifeline and the complete opposite.
It took a wedding that almost happened between Alex and his former fiancee, for the two of them to be open and honest about their true happily ever after. Alex wasn't ready to return home and Caden took extra time off. Perfect opportunity to blow off some steam and have a friends weekend. Well, there wasn't going to be a wedding so why waste a honeymoon. Surprise! Caden joked that Alex was his husband. As it turned out, their last drunken night in Vegas, they really did get married.
Of all the realizations, the constant was neither could live without the other. Caden's fears of how things would work out at home and Alex's fears of getting his heart broken - all became background noise as each day passed.
Throughout this book, we were given flashbacks of their lives and one thing always remained clear, these two seemed to have been in love with one another a lot longer than they wanted to admit.
Excellent, funny, romantic, witty, and revealing.

This was so cute. One of my favorite tropes is when the best friend finally realizes that the love they have isn’t as platonic as they originally thought and this novella had that in spades.
Both the men in this short book were lovable and sweet and the banter was so funny.
I liked the ending, I loved the support and the absolute lack of shock and surprise that the families had when they announced that they were married.
It was just a really great little novella.

This was a fun read, watching Caden get out of his own way and acknowledge his feelings for Alex. Loved how the two of them embraced their surprise marriage and enjoyed their time together on their honeymoon.
It was just the type of book I needed to escape the stress of the day.
