I really struggled to finish this book. I kept reading and hoped it was going to get better, but it didn’t. I’m going through a friend break-up currently and thought the topic would be relatable but when the characters (mainly Kat) are so unlikable, it’s hard to think about your situation and how it relates back to the book. I also found it hard to keep track of as there’s a lot of back and forth.

3/5 the way the chapters were set up was confusing, it made the story hard to follow.

Ugh! I honestly don’t know what James saw in Kat.

Loved the book and the switching between perspectives. The timing of it got a little convoluted at the end as it went back in time a few times but I enjoyed reading it. I was a little saddened by it/did cry at certain parts as well due to circumstances in my own life but overall thought it was a good read and would recommend!

A very realistic story about friendship, a lot of this problems were problems I had when I was that age.
