I liked this book much more than I thought I was going to. While not up there among the greats of literature, it hit a need of something cute and cozy. And I loved what we saw of the magic system.

The slip that witches cannot lie added a layer of intrigue I hadn't been expecting.

Will definitely read more once given the chance.
