Initially, I was happy that the characters seemed to have evolved somewhat, but by the end of the novel I found the main character  annoying. And unfortunately I happened to look up her interaction with another character and hit a major spoiler in the book. So this kind of held my attention through most of it. But towards the end I was just getting really annoying with the one noteness of all the characters. In fact, most of the team was it distinguishable because they didn't really have a voice of their own. Bosh was very lightly featured in this. I don't know if I want to continue with this series, although I felt this one was better than than dark sacred night.
