Late review so lacks a fresh perspective. Good book to be honest but I only read the first half which discusses romantic relationships. Lots of good information and ideas to consider.

Everybody should read this book once

a book has never made me cry like this. such important insights and written so beautifully, it speaks to my soul in ways few books have before. i think one of the most powerful things about it is it will be something i can return to throughout the different seasons of my life. the first section which discusses friendship at great length spoke most directly to me now, a 21 year old recent graduate. i’d imagine that in 10 years time other parts would resonate more deeply, and the meaning of the book would evolve along with me. simply put: stunning.

i just didn't really like how it kind of discarded friendships. she is like it's important but then next she's like it is not as important as romantic relationships. and i just don't really vibe with that.

I like it! But it's taken me so long to read. Just super densely packed with interviews from people smarter and more emotionally intelligent me lol.
