The vibe we’re not it and all the characters were annoying. It was painful to finish and I almost DNF it

If you're looking for a horror novel that is well-written, uber creepy, and is also a study on what parents will do for their children, this is the book you're looking for. This one isn't for the sensitive reader, it can be pretty graphic and feels very realistic.
A parasite living in every human on earth is no longer dormant. It kills only children and brings them back to life three days later. But to survive, these kids need more than air, water, and food. How far will parents go to make sure their little ones stay alive? And how far will little ones go to live?
I read the audio book version, and the narrator was fantastic.
