Such an amazing book! 100% a 5 star read. After having already read Pangaea I knew I would love the poetry style but even ontop of that the poems within this is so powerful! The impact each and every one of them had was amazing and I will 100% pick up anything this author ever puts out.

I am left absolutely breathless after reading "To Build A Home". The words just reached out and grasped my soul, transporting me into a world of sorrow and healing.

Absolutely beautiful debut poetry collection. Really admired how the poet experimented with a number of different styles and forms throughout the collection without it feeling forced or unnatural. It's amazing -- this story is so clearly Hinnah's, yet her words were able to connect to me and my own experiences at the same time.

"I often described the pain as a God-shaped hole." It most definitely was.

I think this is the first thing I’ve really read about DV since my own experience w it. It hit really close to home. I particularly loved “An Apology” and “The Message I’ll Never Leave You”

This is a great debut novel from a young writer. It reminds me of Rupi Kaur's Milk and Honey, but I feel that the themes aren't quite as connected and coherent as Kaur's. Comparison aside, it is worth the read.

This collection was beautiful and I highly recommend it. It was deep and very unique from what I had read previously. It is full of long, meaningful poems and the writing was amazing.
