i didn't think i'd enjoy this after a slow part 1, but i ended up LOVING this book and didn't want to put it down. the main FMC was so refreshing to read. i can't wait for the 2nd book.

Oh my gosh this book💖 Over the course of the serpent and dove series Celie quickly transformed from boring, wafer of a woman and into my favorite character! The last book left me happy for she and Jean Luc, and with hopes that Jean Luc could be the man she needed. 

THIS BOOK captured so much more character development for her, I found myself seething with agitation for Jean Luc, and cheering for her strong will! The emotions I felt... When Michal walked into the picture. I can't wait to read the next book!
