I really enjoyed this audio book. It was not a plot driven story, but lots of character development. I think it spoke to me because the characters are in middle age and are trying to rekindle and keep the value of old friendships alive in their middle age. Some parts dragged a bit, but I really grew to care for these characters and their journeys. Lots of lines really resonated with me...about the finite quality of a life and what you can expect to accomplish or achieve...about mistakes, secrets, and forgiveness...about the value of friendship and support even when you don't cultivate it very well or want it.

Probably not a book for everyone, but a just right book for me right now.
