There were definitely some flaws in this story, but it being about Miles Morales I am inclined to still like it. I am not sure why I am such a sucker for Miles but I am!

However here is a list of what I did NOT like:
1) Ganke- like what the fuck man you are supposed to be Miles friend?
2) The name Goldballs, I mean is that a joke?
3) The super unnecessary involvement of that youtuber girl, she just annoys the crap out of me.

But things I liked:
1) Miles
2) Mrs. Marvel
3) Black Cat- I am also a sucker for anything Black Cat, sue me.

Eu gostei...

This was a nice introduction to Miles Morales and his environment. I imagine as I keep reading, the series will get better and better. I'm pretty netural on this series so far. I do really wish that Ganke was more supportive and just listened to Miles! The grandma is super annoying already as well, but I really can appreciate Miles's dad and the people that are there for Miles! This was a short and sweet comic and can't wait to read more! Overall, I'd give this book a 3.5/5.

As a general rule I don't read comic books so much as I quickly skim a few pages when new copies arrive at the library so I can pretend to know what's going on. I actually read this one. Miles is super likable, as his his friend Ganke. While I certainly don't have the whole breadth of this character's history at my disposal, I see him as a worthy teenage successor to the all-grown-up Peter Parker without being a carbon copy.
