This was a pleasant read.

Wroth was indeed, a poetic woman, and obviously full of some angst, and obviously angst over love. At times her characters monologues on love and aching seemed exaggerated and unrealistic, but in understanding the connection between the characters and her own life, these same moments were made more interesting, given more depth. Without the knowledge of Wroth's own forlorn love I doubt I would have enjoyed Love's Victory the same.
