I love this book so much and its one that has always stuck with me since a child and remembrance of my grandparents reading this to me everytime I visited. Now with kids of my own, I ordered it right away and it still held up all these years. Its an adorable book about a little book and a strawberry, with a surprising end.

A book that teaches you to lie and terrorize another in order to get half of what is theirs. A terrible message. Zero stars.
Love the artwork and it's a cute story. I own the board book which is probably a mistake because my 3 year old still just doesn't get it - not really.
Today was the first time I read this classic children's tale. The reader is the main character who is constantly warning the tiny mouse about the BIG HUNGRY BEAR who will want the strawberry the mouse has just picked. I won't spoil the ending but the build up is marvelous!
